We take life so seriously. Somewhere along the way we have forgotten to include playfulness.
“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”.
Being playful is being at peace with the environment and oneself - It’s about letting go.

Society, culture, and parents have conditioned humans molding the personality. As young adults it’s all about fitting in and not losing opportunities in our personal lives and careers. The body grows while the spirit becomes smaller and smaller over the course human development.
For some, pride and ego play a big part in the belief "that play seems silly.“ Our inner child is always with us, why not allow it to play once in a while, releasing our authentic self, with no pretense. In our hectic, modern lives, many of us focus so heavily on work and family commitments while never making time for pure fun.
Play is not just essential for kids; it is also an important source of relaxation and stimulation for adults. Being playful is being at peace with the environment and oneself. It’s about letting go and being in the moment.
There are so many benefits of approaching life with a Playful Mindset:
Relieves Stress
Play is fun triggering the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals promoting an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
Improves Brain Function
Playing chess, completing puzzles, or pursuing other fun activities that challenge the brain helps with memory while improving brain function. The social interaction of playing with family and friends can also help ward off stress and depression.
Stimulates The Mind & Boosts Creativity
Young children often learn best when they are playing—a principle that also applies to adults. You’ll easily learn a new task when it’s fun and you’re relaxed. Play also stimulate your imagination, helping you adapt and problem solve.
Improves Relationships
Sharing laughter and fun fosters empathy, compassion, trust, and intimacy with others. Play is not necessarily a specific activity; it can also be a state of mind. Developing a playful nature can help with stressful situations, break the ice, make new friends, not to mention business relationships.
Keeps You Feeling Young & Energetic
In the words of George Bernard Shaw, “We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing". Imagine an 84 years old great grandmother just brightening up with laughter and joy as she plays with her 14 months old great granddaughter. She is living a joyful life because she allows her inner child out to play once in a while. Play can boost energy and vitality and even improve disease resistance, helping us function at our best.
Develops and Improves Social skills
Social skills are the foundation for lasting, positive relationships. These skills allow you to connect with other people on a deeper level.
Heals Emotional Wounds
When we are playful we shed that strong suit of armour aka “Ego”. Ego will always want to make you believe you are always right. When you shed that layer you break through the barrier allowing others into your life.
